Credits count your minutes while you are mid-answer
Parakeet sells credits: half a credit covers a 30-minute call, and the worked examples on their own page show a call of about an hour consuming up to 4 credits — more than the $39 starter pack contains. The meter runs during the meeting, which is precisely when you do not want to be doing arithmetic in the corner of your mind. A ZoomGuru subscription has no balance: the only thing that runs down is the calendar.

Your material is not in the screen share
The ZoomGuru overlay is marked as protected content at the operating-system level, so capture software skips the window. Zoom, Meet, Teams and screen recorders show whatever is behind it — not your prepared notes. That is a property of how the window is created, not a trick played on any one meeting app.
What ZoomGuru does not try to be
ZoomGuru is Windows 10 and later; the macOS build is in progress and is not out yet. It also does not generate headshots, write CVs, or sell a question bank — those are pre-interview products, and the hour before the call is not when this tool is used. What it does is the part that happens live: your own documents, on your screen, unmetered, for as long as the call runs.
